# Post type 'Posts' missing from admin menu

 * Hello all,
 * I took over a project for a company who’s developer left in a hurry. Not the 
   best way to get involved, but it’s going okay. One of the things I’m having a
   hard time tracking down is the omission of ‘Posts’ from the Admin menu.
 * Things of note:
    - [Types Plug-in](https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/#types-topics)
      employed
    - Looking at the global $menu; array, posts appears in at $menu[5][0]
 * I have searched all configurations for – but there is nothing outright saying
   not to appear:
    `remove_menu_page('edit.php')`
 * I have read somewhere that Custom Post Types suppress the display, but no longer
   can I find that blog post and it doesn’t appear to be a common constraint.
 *  Any ideas?

 * Ugh. I found the setting in an additional plug in that simply hides menu items.
