# Post width into sidebar

 * I recently had a developer recreate my website. [http://www.successrevolutions.com](http://www.successrevolutions.com).
   I no longer have him employed and want to change the width of my posts so they
   are not so close to the sidebar. But I cannot find menus that would allow this.
   The theme is SS1 if that means anything. Where can I go in and change the width
   myself? Thanks.

 * `padding-right:40px;` to the `.art-content-layout .art-content{}` declaration
 * You can either do this in the appearance editor (not recommended) or via FTP (
   the best way)

 * I found it and tried it in my FTP, but nothing seemed to change. Thanks anyway.

 * Install bluefish or dreamweaver editor. Open your stylesheet file with bluefish
   Dreamweaver. They will tell you the line number.
