 * How does wildcarding of the postcodes work?
 * It used to work that adding SE2 * (with a space) meant only SE2 postcodes would
   get an option.
 * If I enter SE2 *, SE3 *, etc – meaning only SE2 and SE3 postcodes get a particular
   delivery method, it also includes SE21 – SE39 postcodes. Not ideal.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fpost-zip-codes-syntax%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi,
 * Spaces are generally removed from postcodes to ensure more accurate matching
   for post/zipcodes, this works in most (all?) countries in the world, except the
   UK 🙁
 * You can either create some custom code to modify the existing ‘Zipcode’ condition
   to not strip out whitespace, or alternatively I have such code available for
   the other plugin [Advanced Shipping](http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-advanced-shipping/8634573).
   Happy to send that over if you decide to use that plugin.
 * Sorry I can’t be the bearer or better news for you with a easy and ready-to-go
   as is solution.
 * Have a great weekend!

 * If you could send over the custom code, that’d be great.

 * Happy to send it over, just shoot me a message through the support tab on that
   plugin and request the ‘custom extension script to leave spaces in zipcodes’
   and I’ll know what you mean 😉
 * Cheers,
    Jeroen
