# Posting directly

 * Hello, just like to say that I am very impressed with wordpress,
    but i would
   like to know if it is possible to post(write) directly to wordpress bypassing
   any need to login register blah blah. (i apreciate this is asking for trouble).
   I’ve sort of managed to achieve the concept but when i press publish a login 
   is required (which I want to disable) I would also like this to redirect to index.
   php when publish is pressed.
 * Thanks very much in advance if anyone has a clue what I’m going on about

 * It sounds like you need to enable cookies. If you’ve blocked all cookies, or 
   cookies from your own site (!), you will get a login/register prompt every time
   you do anything that involves updating your weblog’s database.

 * I would like any visitor to be able to post without the hassle of registering(
   posts not comments)

 * Oh. I suppose you could just create a’visitor’ account of a level with posting
   privileges and publish the login/password on your sidebar… They’d still have 
   to go through the motions of logging in once, but no longer have to register 
   themselves individually.
