# Posting Problem

 * Hello I have been a happy wordpress user for quite a while now but there has 
   been one problem bugging me across multiple versions of wordpress. I can not 
   write a post in an offline editor, such as Windows Live Writer, and have the 
   formatting apply to the post once it is posted to my blog.
 * > Example: Instead of posting a link to abc.com I will get a href=”abc.com”abc.
   > com/a
 * The entire post shows up without any of the brackets needed for html to recognize
   the link. I have tired multiple garden variates of offline software too and that
   has not resolved the situation. If anyone can help me resolve this situation 
   I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
