• Hi everyone,

I’m facing a strange and frustrating issue with my website that’s been doing well for over 10 years. Recently, all the posts from the WordPress section of my site have disappeared from Google Search.

    • My non-WordPress section rankings are intact.
    • Category pages are still indexed and appear in Google.
    • The website has a long history and was performing consistently well in search for years.
    • Individual post URLs are missing from Google Search.
    • When I try to add a link to a post using the “Add Link” button in the WordPress editor, only categories and tags show upposts are not listed at all.
    • I changed themes and SEO plugins, Sometimes, rankings recover briefly (for 2–3 days) but then disappear again without any consistent pattern.
    • No major changes were made to permalink structure.

      Awaiting your insights

  • Any errors in GSC?

No particular errors in gsc is found regarding this issue

Do you have your WordPress site’s XML feed in GSC? If not, you want to do this.

And I’ll recommend inspecting a handful of URLs in GSC to see if Google encounters any issues.

If none of these turn up anything interesting, I’ll recommend seeking assistance directly from your current SEO plugin author (who likely knows a ton more about SEO). Support is one of the perks of buying PRO plugins, so you may as well take advantage of what you paid for: https://aioseo.com/contact/

    Good luck!

    Hello

My rss feed as well as sitemap.xml is listed in GSC, status is success and shows the processed urls. No errors displayed.

When I’m searching with the urls, for most of the pages, says no referring sitemap detected and in some pages the sitemap is detected as a referring page.

The recent traffic drop is happened after 7 hours I installed aioseo pro. I contacted them immediately and they said just to wait and watch. Their support is really slow and mostly non responsive
