Posts Categorized Improperly

    Hello,

    I have built a frontend post submission form which defaults to “User Posts” category. However, now all blog posts (even ones added through the backend and assigned other categories) are showing up with the “User Posts” category on the Single Post view.

    If I browse to the proper category for the post, “News & Updates”, the post shows up in the loop – so it’s really only an issue with the Single Post view.

    Any idea why this could be or how we can resolve it?

    Hello @jmessy919,

    On the settings of every single form has the option to select the Default post category. If the form does not have the category field the post will submit on that default category. Check this screenshot.

    If your posts that are not created with WPUF forms but the posts are getting the category selected on WPUF form, then there is something else happening.
