# Posts Disappeared

 * Yesterday when I visited one of my blogs I found that the actual posts had disappeared.
   The titles are all still there but the post isn’t. Doublechecked inside and the
   posts are in the box. Tried updating but they still do not show up. I haven’t
   changed anything inside of the wordpress. Help. BTW I’d like to install an old
   WP instead of this one so how do I go back?
 * Another question: I have backups for this site but when I try to import them 
   with php it does not work. Says there is a compatability issue.

 * Restoring to a previous version means restoring your WordPress files, usually
   managed with FTP, and then [Restoring your database](http://codex.wordpress.org/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup).

 * Might look at [phpMyAdmin](http://codex.wordpress.org/phpMyAdmin) under Import,
   Format of imported file, SQL compatibility mode for correct setting; check if
   host has FAQ on that.

 * Hi there, I have a similar problem, which was not answered by the Mod.

 * I have a fresh clean install of 2.7.1;
 * When logged in as admin: The post title exists, the post exists and comments 
   exist.
 * However when viewing the actual blog and post itself outside of admin, the only
   thing that shows up is the Title and comment.

 * I’m a long time user of WP and never encountered this before. Some assistance
   would be great please.

 * ok thanks to Samboll in another thread – this was fixed by resetting the permalinks
   in settings.
