# Posts element in a column?

 * I’m trying to create a newsletter based on WordPress posts with excerpt and Read
   more links like what is quite common these days. BUT with in this case a narrow
   column to the left of the post elements containing the logo’s of our sponsors.
   So I entered a 1:2 column element and entered some logo’s in the left column.
   Into the right (‘2’) column I can drag all content elements like text an image
   but NOT ‘Posts’. Is this by design, or did I miss something?

 * It is true that posts – as well as products from WooCommerce – cannot be added
   to a column layout in your MailPoet template.
 * It’s because our posts / products blocks are already built using columns, and
   embedded columns don’t play nicely together.

 * Perhaps your sponsor logos would work as a nice header or footer area, before
   the posts area?

 * That would make for a pretty big header area before you get into the good stuff
   of the newsletter, unfortunately! The columns idea was a good one but unfortunately
   will not work.
 * I guess the best path forward here is to add the sponsors as a footer below your
   posts block. As this information would be repeated every time, I think it’s better
   to prioritize the new information (i.e. the latest posts block) at the top, and
   add your sponsor links below in as small a footprint as possible.
 * Hope you can find a layout that works for you!
