No need to get someone else.
When I go in to Manage the offending post I can clearly see that it has become Private. So I make it readable for everyone and I come back today… it’s marked Private again.
I have a similar problem… occasionally posts I edit mark themselves private… it happens every other month or so, and I swear i’m not doing it!
Has anyone else run into this much more intermittent self-marking private posts?
I ran into this one time on my local test install of 2.1 — I marked the post as public again, and have not been able to repeat the problem. As far as I know, it hasn’t happened on any of my public blogs.
I’m glad to see someone else mention it, because it really confused me when it happened. I thought I was losing my mind! 😉
