However, some posts are being set to Uncategorized instead. Is there some configuration that I need to make to ensure all posts coming from the email account are set to the default category? I think it will be useful for you to understand the setup for the emailed posts. We have a tech support email address, let’s call it [web-support@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support@domain.com?output_format=md). This is a forwarding email address and every email sent to it is forwarded to all addresses on a list. I wanted to capture these emails in a archive, so I created a normal email address, call it [web-support-archive@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support-archive@domain.com?output_format=md) and placed it on the list of forwarded addresses associated with [web-support@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support@domain.com?output_format=md). Postie is set up to get the emails sent to [web-support-archive@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support-archive@domain.com?output_format=md) and create a post for each email. The default category is techsupport. * This works when I send an email to [web-support@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support@domain.com?output_format=md)( I am listed as the default poster and “Allow anyone to post via email” is set you yes). However, when someone else posts to [web-support@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support@domain.com?output_format=md) or someone replies to an email sent to [web-support@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support@domain.com?output_format=md), the email is gathered by Postie, but categorized as Uncategorized. This happens even when I respond to an email sent to [web-support@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/posts-miscategorized/web-support@domain.com?output_format=md) * I have the zip file of the log, but I don’t know how to attach a file to a message on the forum (particularly, this message). I made the changes you suggested, but now emails from anyone other than me are routed to the comments section of the web site. This means the emails are not properly posted and displayed on the web site. * Is there a way to configure the plugin so replies to emails go to the posts section of the web site? * **Added later: I just noticed the “Treat Replies As” setting. I have changed it to “New Post”. Hopefully, that will stop replies from going to the comments section of the web site.
