 * Hi guys!
 * I have the impression that most of wordpress themes have a vertical post organization
   of recent posts – much like twenty eleven for example.
 * How can I organize posts into two side by side columns maintaining the vertical
   orientation for featured posts?
 * This is an example of what I am trying to achieve:

 * This can be done with [multiple loops](http://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop#Multiple_Loops).
 * The first loop would display the Featured posts in a single column. The second
   would display other posts in two columns.
 * You can find themes that use two columns and examine their code to see how to
   do that in the second loop.
