# Posts page vs using the Query Loop Block?

 * Hi there, I need a little clarification of the Query Loop Block.
 * As I see it the Query Loop Block is a Blog post design block, but it is not intentionel
   to use it on the Posts page which default shows Blog Posts without adding any
   blogs to the page.
 * If I add the Query Loop Block to the Posts page, I get duplicated posts.
 * So what would you recommend, if you want to change the design of the Blog Post
   on the Posts Page?
 * Should I create a new page containing the Query Loop Block, and select this as
   my default Posts Page in display settings?
 * I just starting working with posts, but hope my question makes sense.

 * Hi there,
 * the options are many which can be good , but also confusing.
 * If you want to design your blog page with the Query Loop, then yes you would 
   use a Static Page to display the Query Loop.
 * However it should be noted that, making your Category archives in the same way
   is more complicated. And maybe better handled by the Theme.
