# posts self-duplicate

    – Version: 3.4.2 – Version PHP/MySQL : 5.0 – Theme: Weaver
   II Pro – Plugins: 50… – Host : GoDaddy – Address : [http://pattymackz.com/wordpress/](http://pattymackz.com/wordpress/)
 * Each post self duplicates after an indefinite period of time.
    It can be after
   2 hours as well as after a week. As soon as I manually trash one or several duplicates,
   it stops doing it. Would anybody have experienced this ? Does anybody know about
   a faulty plugin that could cause this ? Thanks for hints. Gérald

 * Deactivate your plugins, revert to Twenty Eleven theme and see if the problem
   persists.

 * Thanks Krishna.
    I already changed the Theme without success. Having to test 
   my plugins one by one is almost impossible (would take about 2 months…)which 
   is why I am asking the community if anyone has already experienced (and solved)
   this problem.

 * In the circumstances described by you, I think, you will have to reinstall WordPress
   and restore your site, as either nothing else works or nothing else solve your
   problems.
 * Backup everything in your site including database, in case anything goes wrong.
