# Posts with permalink will not embed

 * Why do some posts fail to embed? Error message says post is not public, yet it
   is public. Any post of this format e.g.
 * willl not embed. If it has permalink in it, it will not work, but if it has post,
   it works fine.

 * I got the link the same way as any link – for example, on a facebook post, click
   on the time/date link, to open the post. Then copy the URL.
    Some URLS contain
   permalinks, some don’t – I have no idea why but that’s what happens
