Potential cache issue

    I was experimenting with the settings in Asset Cleanup (free version), and changed only a couple, specifically with:

    – Hide WordPress Core Files From The Assets List

    I’m using the Beaver Builder theme and WP Rocket as well.

    Now, it appears the WP dashboard version of my site is broken or has a caching issue.

    The reason I believe this is true is b/c my contact page has been excluded from caching via WP Rocket and it is the only page still functioning properly.

    From what I can tell, the public version of my site is working properly, and when I go into the Beaver Builder editor, it looks right. But after I hit PUBLISH in the Beaver Builder editor, the page then appears broken.

    I’ve also restored database files, but this has not fixed the issue.

    Please advise.

    @chrisfulmer07 I checked your website, including the contact page and everything looks alright. Did you uninstall Asset CleanUp? Can you be more specific about the problem you’re having? Some print screens would be good. You can attach them via a service such as https://imgbb.com/.

    Now, after briefly checking your homepage, I’ve noticed plenty of assets that are loading but not needed and you could save hundreds of KB from the total page size, which would make a difference in the PageSpeed score.

    – /wp-content/plugins/bbpowerpack/assets/css/animate.min.css?ver=3.5.1 (it’s reported as 100% unused by Coverage and you do not seem to have any animated behavior there)
    – /wp-content/plugins/team-members-pro/inc/css/tmm_style.css?ver=5.7.2
    – /wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/theme.min.css?ver=5.7.2
    – /wp-includes/js/wp-embed.min.js?ver=5.7.2

    I also noticed files related to “magnificpopup“. If you do not need them on the homepage, consider unloading those assets and re-test the homepage. You might be able to find extra JS files that are loading from other plugins but not needed. In this case, you’re more entitled to decide if you need them or not since you might use a plugin that has certain files on the homepage once in a while.

    I hope it helps! Let me know if there’s anything wrong with the plugin such as a bug that is breaking the layout of your pages. I’ll definitely check it out for you. So far, everything seems fine on my tests.
