Potential Incompatible Plugin Detected: WP RSS Aggregator

    Hi,

    I’m aware of the underlying technical issue, BUT i have already modified WP-RSS-Aggregator plugin so as to avoid the actual conflict (see here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/conflict-with-shield-plugin-2/ ) – whilst we await a new version of it sometime in the new year (2025).

    However, I’ve just started receiving these messages in admin: 

    Shield Security - Potential Incompatible Plugin Detected: WP RSS Aggregator

    Shield Security has detected that another plugin active on your site is potentially incompatible and may cause errors while running alongside Shield.
    To prevent crashing your site, Shield won't run and you may chose to deactivate the incompatible plugin.
    The incompatible plugin is: WP RSS Aggregator

    & it appears that Shield is no longer running (even though plugin is activated)!

    Please could you tell me how to circumvent this test/message/disablement – since I am u sing a FIXED version of the RSS plugin and need to CONTINUE to run Shield with it also (as used to work fine)?

    Hi,

    We added a workaround for this, but honestly it isn’t tested, but please try creating a file in the root of the Shield plugin directory named exactly ignore_incompatibilities. The plugin is normally found at /wp-content/plugins/wp-simple-firewall/. This file should have no extenions (e.g. .txt, etc.) and be named, in-full, exactly as outlined
