 * Hi,
    Is there a way that the table can be prefiltered and they allow more filtering.
   I am using columnFilterWidget, but am not sure if this is possible.
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble, as well as for the late answer.
   As I was on vacation, I didn’t have a chance to reply earlier.
 * Depending on what exactly you want to do, this TablePress Extension might be
   helpful: [http://tablepress.org/extensions/row-filter/](http://tablepress.org/extensions/row-filter/)

 * Tobias,
 * Thanks for the reply. But when I use row filtering extension and the DataTables
   ColumnFilterWidgets, the colunm that I filter with row filtering disables the
   ColumnFilterWidgets. So once it is filtered I am not able to use the ColumnFilterWidgets
   dropdown for that column. This is the command I am using [table id=appointment
   datatables_columnfilterwidgets=”true” filter=”full”/]. What I would like is to
   have the table filtered as if one of the dropdown value has been selected when
   the table is loaded.
 * Thanks in advance

 * Hi,
 * yeah, that is likely. The Row Filter Extension will indeed filter out all rows
   that don’t match.
 * Unfortunately, I’m not aware of a way to tell the ColumnFilterWidgets script
   to start with a pre-filtered word 🙁 Sorry.
 * Regards,
    Tobias
