Hello friend, hope you are well. Have marked as: This topic is not a support question. Because it is more of a feature/settings request.

I write in hopes the developer can find the time to implement letting the user chose images to preload not only by url but also by class name. I have hundreds of posts and want to preload my featured images that are above the fold, adding the url for each post in the post editor would take far too much time and effort. I was hoping we could add such request to the plugin as for example: Preload on Post: attachment-my-themes-featured-wp-post-image

    Thanks for listening, respectfully.

Totally agree, I’m looking for a feature to preload first 2 images, like logo and featured image. Would be very helpful 🙂

Just need your suggestion as a user friendly. featured images have a multiple images urls like : post-thumbnail, medium, large, full.

Right now my plan to add full image url but please share your thoughts in it.

@ravipatel , This is the brilliant plugin I am using to lazyload, manage responsiveness, serve webp on the fly from cdn …. Check out the html-rewrite.php from Flying Images plugin by Gijo Varghese. I’m in his FB Group, really nice man, I’m sure he would give great guidance if you contacted him. (WP Speed Matters)

Hi, @ravipatel it would be great to differentiate preloaded image sizes between phones, tablets and desktop. Preload a smaller size for phones, medium-large for tablets and the largest one for desktop. What do you think about it?

@woorooo, with the plugin I mentioned above, it does all the resizing and serves them in webp from their cdn on the fly. Only thing it does not do is of course preload.
