# Prettify Folder names

 * I see the older post from two years ago indicating that prettify happens on folder
   and files. We can turn it off on the shortcode for files but still no way of 
   managing this in folder creation. Is this still true?

 * In 3.9.7.5 `prettify=off` will also disable the prettification of directory names.
