Prevent automatic default shipping address change

Hi,

I would like to ask how to disable the automatic update of the default shipping address when placing an order.

Currently, if I set a specific address as the default in “My Account” and then either add a new address or change the shipping address for a single order during checkout, the selected address automatically becomes the default address.

I want the default address to remain unchanged unless I explicitly set it as default. Could you please advise how to achieve this?
