 * Hello, how can I prevent that all sent forms are stored in the database? This
is not GDPR compliant and unnecessarily bloats the database. I guess that without
database storage, they would disappear from the “Responses” tab too, but that
would be perfectly fine because I set email notifications for all forms.

 * Hello Newshop
 * Yes, you can prevent forms responses from being stored in the database. There
is an option in the settings called “Disable entry storing in WordPress database”
which you can enable to achieve this. Once enabled, the form responses will not
be stored in the database, but they will still be sent via email notifications.
 * To enable this option, you need to open the Bit Form dashboard and then go to
   then
**Click on from name > Setting > Forms Setting > “Disable entry storing
in WordPress database” **to enable it. Please note that you will need to enable
this setting for each form individually if you want to disable it for all forms.
 * You can find more information about this option in the documentation at this
   link: [https://docs.form.bitapps.pro/wpbitform-form-settings#disable-entry-storing-in-wordpress-database](https://docs.form.bitapps.pro/wpbitform-form-settings#disable-entry-storing-in-wordpress-database)
 * I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

 * Hm ok thanks, but this is a pro feature. Isn’t it possible to share a code snippet
to achieve that in the free version too?

 * Unfortunately, this feature is only available in the pro version and there is
no workaround or code snippet to achieve it in the free version.

 * Oh no, that’s really too bad. Your plugin would have had what it takes to become
really successful, but the fact that it is only GDPR compliant in the Pro version
is really a K.O. criteria. That should actually go without saying.
 * Wouldn’t it be a consideration to say that the plugin in the free version does
NOT store the data in the database and it is a pro feature that it is stored
in the database and listed in the Responses tab? That would make much more sense
and would solve the GDPR problem.
 * Thank you and kind regards from Germany.
