# Previously Published Posts

 * I have a few posts that have already been published. How does the Steempress 
   plugin process these? For example, I’ve set a 7-day delay on posts from my WordPress
   to Steemit, but some of my posts have been published for over 7 days. Does the
   plugin automatically detect these?
 * Do I need to unpublish & republish the posts in order to start the timer?

 * There seem to be a misunderstanding, the delay defines the delay between when
   you publish a new post and when it gets pushed to steem. This feature is there
   to protect your SEO.
 * And to reply to your question about older posts :
    You can either unpublish and
   republish or select the posts you want to publish use the bulk option “publish
   to steem”

 * Hello and thank you for the answer. I am aware of the SEO implications, which
   is why I have a 7-day delay set.
 * I was just trying to clarify how the plugin addressed articles that already existed
   prior to the installation of the plugin. I was not aware of the bulk publish 
   feature though, which resolves my issue.
