    Hi,

Typically print styles are set by a print stylesheet – http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/11/how-to-set-up-a-print-style-sheet/

May I ask what plugin did print styling on your behalf?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi David,

I am not a techy, like most who use WordPress, but I know this:

When we use a competitor plugin (Share Buttons by AddToAny) it prints normal pages. When we use “Simple Share Buttons Adder” the printed pages look gibberish with tons of html code on the page. I’m not sure if the print stylesheet will function differently based on different plugins, or if the printing function the same…

We like your plug in, as it is simple and clean. The printing function is not working correctly in it, hence taking the time to contact you and see if there’s anything you can do. Yes we can use other plugins, but we are hoping yours will be somehow working correctly in the near future, as we do prefer to keep using it if the print function is fixed.

    Thank you. 🙂

    Hello David,

You were right, it was the site which was interfering with the printing formatting.

Would there be a way to add an additional printing button which redirects the page to PrintFriendly or another website which re-formats the page content to prevent the extra URLs from being printed?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Please can you provide a link to an example? I’ll give it some research/thought about what can be done.

    Thanks,

    David
