Hello Massimo.

I have a google sheet embedded within a page (iframed) and when I select “print” from the menu, I’m given the option to print (from the drop down) – but I never get the actual print screen (or am able to print).

Can you advise?

Google does not provide a menu in its iframe, the browser option “print” is intended for HTML total and not to the iframe. You may indicate below the embed code Link to google drive with the option of converting PDF which when opened by the user can be printed on a local printer or network.
