I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I don’t know an existing solution to this. The first link that you posted uses an external service for this, where all the information for the PDF is part of the link that opens it. This would probably be the best solution here, but you need the server-side service that creates the PDF first.
TablePress is not able to create PDF files like that, sorry.

Yes, that should work, either on the frontend with JavaScript or on the server side with PHP.

I am new to wordpress. I have given a task of creating Employee Directory.
After the research, i came across this tablepress plugin.
I am using the free version of the tablepress extension plugin to download the content of the table as PDF. But i am stuck with one issue.
My requirement is to download the selected columns of a table.
Can i do that. can i add the customize code in the plugin. please suggest.

no, sorry, from everything I know, this is not directly possible. The JavaScript code only allows saving the full table to a file, sorry.
