# Problem adding an image.

 * I did the required WordPress database update. I went to create a new post, I 
   uploaded the images from our computer and that worked fine. But, when I went 
   to add the image to my post, it just adds the HTML code for the image but not
   the actual image. How do I fix this?

 * Yes, I used the add the image button. The images uploaded fine, but when I went
   to add it in the post editor box the HTML just pops up.

 * Just to confirm,
 * – adding the image in the **“Visual”** mode of the text editor
    – in “Add an 
   Image” popup box, you clicked **“Insert into Post”** button
 * and the html code is added instead of the actual image in the **“Visual”** editor.
   
   Is that right?

 * Change your theme to twenty eleven or twenty ten to see if that works.
 * Also disable your plugins one by one and see if one of the plugins causing the
   issue.
