# Problem Categories

 * Hello, something strange happened in my wordpress. I have all categories created
   normally, but when I go in Appearance => menus to insert the category in the 
   menus, there is no available category (see image below). What can this be? Is
   it some unmade setting?

 * It seems some of your installed plugins or theme’s script breaking this functionality.
   If you are working on local server, I would recommend you to disable all the 
   plugins one by one and activate any WP default Twenty theme and then check again.
 * This activity is jus to locate the issue.

 * Alternately, if you can install plugins, install [Health Check](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/).
   On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and
   change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, **without affecting normal
   visitors to your site**.
