# Problem changing custom header image

 * I am trying to change the header image using the interface. I pick my picture,
   click upload, and then it brings me back to the theme page.
 * It is supposed to bring me to the page to crop the image to the proper size. 
   I am new to wordpress with godaddy.
 * Is there a bug in the program?
 * Any help would be great.
 * The only other solution I have is that I manually create an image to size and
   replace it in the folder but I prefer not doing that.

 * Being that it is not possible to change header images “via (the)an interface”,
   it appears you are using wordpress.COM as a host, rather than self-hosted wordpress.
   That being the case – you are in the wrong place to ask your question. You need
   to address this to the wordpress.com support forum.

 * no I am using self hosting. I am using a template that allows the user to change
   the header image.
