# problem changing “URL Modification Mode”

 * Hi
 * I am running a web site with about 10K posts. It is a few days that I have migrated
   to QtranslateX (version Version 3.4.6.8) from qtranslate.
 * Currently the language mode is set to “**Use Pre-Domain Mode (uses [http://en.yoursite.com](http://en.yoursite.com)).
   You will need to configure DNS sub-domains on your site”**, however, I am having
   issues to chanage back to my default languages it seems, however, all the other
   languages are working properly.
 * I have tried to change the mode to **“Use Pre-Path Mode (Default, puts /en/ in
   front of URL). SEO friendly”**. in this case everything is perfect. the only 
   issue is that the old link (en.site.com) are not working anymore.
 * Is there a way to fix one of these 2 problems, either make my default language
   working. Or convert/fix old URL.
