# Problem database

 * Hi,
    i’m trying to install the 2nd wordpress in an other directory differente
   from which i installed the first wp. I’ve charged the new directory with the 
   unzipped files of wp.
 * When i try to install wp with
    [https://mysite.altervista.org/wp272/wp-admin/install.php](https://mysite.altervista.org/wp272/wp-admin/install.php)
 * there is the following error:
    <we are succeeded in connecting db server (username
   and pw are ok) but not in selecting db name>
 * The first installation of wp runs very well.
    Could you help me, pls?

 * Did you add the user to the db? Is the DB name correct? (it’s case sensitive)
   Did you put it in the right place?

 * That error means either of the following:
 * 1. the username used does not have the proper rights to that database.
 * 2. you have mispelled the database name.

 * This is because either your entered database name is incorrect or you didn’t 
   create a database of that name.
    Please create a new database which you are going
   to use for new wordpress installation.
