Problem importing a blog

    I cannot get either the blogger or wordpress.com import plug-ins to work. I can get as far as activating them and going to tools, import, but at that point I get a blank screen, the browser says “done” and i get no request to browse for the blog I have exported from my other system

    I am having the same problem whether I use the blogger import or the wordpress.com import plug-in (I moved the blogger blog to wordpress.com and then exported it again to try and isolate the problem)

    Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it please?

    I have tried in both firefox and IE. Same problem.

    Hep please – I have spent 4 hours mucking about with this and am getting very frustrated with what should be a simple exercise.

    This was such a nightmare problem I completely trashed teh site and reinstalled everything from scratch.

    having done that, magically teh pages I had created were there (nice surprise) and all teh problems with plug-ins not working went away. i was able to import the blog from blogger and all is well
