I just tested the Post Grid widget on my end and it seems perfectly working on my end with the Order by – Date – Descending/Ascending
I went through your page, It seems your sorting is not working properly there. So I’m assuming the Plugin/Theme conflict issue is happening in your end.
So please deactivate all the plugins except Elementor and Essential Addons for Elementor and check back once again.
Also temporary change the theme and check back the Post Grid Shorting feature.
Let me know how it goes.
i disabled all plugin except elementor and EA elementor… switch to 2020 ofcial theme but the problem is still there…

I have the same problem but am not using Elementor but WP Bakery with K Elements. I was able to fix it by manipulating the time of the posts to get the order changed. Must be a bug.

Yes, It reorder the posts as per as the date. But this issue is not related with this as his all posts are set to correct date.
