# Problem loading page.

 * Hello.
 * I am trying to create a Mamp database but I cant seem to get the configuration
   correct. I know this is a Mamp issue but Hopefully some here can help. I originally
   followed a tutorial to configure Mamp to edit WP themes in Dreamweaver but after
   the set up changed my mind. The first thing I did was to set the Apache and MySQL
   ports to default and then created a database. Ive since decided not to continue
   with that and have tried to set Mamp up locally for wordpress. The problem is
   that the start page opens but I cant get PHPMyAdmin to open. It will if I reset
   the ports but no matter what I do now the sever for “localhost” cant be found.
   I have deleted the original Mamp application and started fresh but still the 
   same problem. Im wondering if there is a desktop setting that has been modified
   by the original Mamp app that needs resetting.
