Hi! I’ve been having some trouble restoring my site.

I did a backup with UpdraftPlus. Then I moved my site to another hosting company, but keeping the same URL. Then I installed WordPress and UpdraftPlus again, uploaded via FTP my backups and restored first the uploads, then the themes, plugins, others and finally database.

After restoring database I couldn’t access my WP admin anymore. I’ve tried this many time now. Any idea why this is happening?

Also, the site doesn’t display as before.

Hi,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the restoration log only?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
You can send the log file and copy the contents into an online tool (such as http://pastebin.com/ )

Apologies for the late reply.

Thanks for sending the logs. I can’t find any issues in the log.
Can you try to reset your password? Are you able to successfully reset?

Hi Bryle!

Unfortunately I couldn’t reset my password or have the site displayed correctly.
I’ve tried it several times. The problem always ocurrs after restoring the database.
