# Problem restoring database

 * One of my blogs was hacked – it of course was hosted by GoDaddy. When I found
   this I backedup the databasbe, unisntalled WP then reinstalled it – if you go
   to [http://blog.collegefootballfanatics.com](http://blog.collegefootballfanatics.com)
   you will see the fresh install. However, when I restored the database and changed
   the wp-config to point to the old database it pulled up the old theme and posts…
   and the malware infection. What am i doing wrong? I want to just import all of
   my old posts into the new install.

 * Forget the part about my blog being hacked – that isnt the issue, problem is 
   with restoring the database. Not clear why it is restoring the themes, etc.
