 * I have a problem with my search results and I wonder if someone can help me.

   When I search in my category “Groningen” ( a province) for all events taking
   place, all events appear into the results. And when I fill in e.g. “Noordhorn”
   and choose category “Groningen” it shows up. So far so good. When I search the
   name of any event in category “Groningen”, by typing it into the searchfield,
   and choose all categories (“alle provincies”) , nothing appears. Events in “Groningen”
   are e.g. Aadorp, Noordhorn, Slochteren.
 * Note: All events in the other categories act normal when I choose the same options.
 * Perhaps the problem is that from the start of the building of the website I set
   the WP default category as “Groningen” . To tackle the problem mentioned above,
   I changed it in a unused category, but an event that I added after this change
   shows the same difficulty.
 * Take a look?: http///www.opendag.nu.
 * WP 3.4.2. EM 5.2.3.

 * I tried your sample link and I did get an error
 *     ```
       Uncaught TypeError: Object function (E,F){return new o.fn.init(E,F)} has no method 'widget' index.php:77
       (anonymous function) index.php:77
       (anonymous function)
       ```
 * Have you tried to temporarily:
 * – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this
   works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(
   s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
 * Also, can you try to update to latest EM version 5.3
 * Thank you for your reaction. Sorry, my sample link was not correct. Here it is
   again: [http://www.opendag.nu](http://www.opendag.nu)
 * I tried your suggestions, but sadly without succes. Updating to latest EM-version
   is a little bit tricky because of several modifications I made (not just in the
   templates).
    When you can assure me, updating will be useful, I wil give it a
   try :-).
 * I can make my description of the problem a little easier:
 * When I search “Noordhorn” ( a city in the province Groningen) by checking all
   categories (“Alle provincies”), no event is found. When I search “Noordhorn”
   by choosing the category “Groningen” the event shows up.
    All events in “Groningen”
   act the same way: they don’t show up when asked for. Looking for events in all
   óther categories (so except the province of Groningen) , you will find them all
   by searching in all categories (“Alle provincies”) and that ‘s the way it should
   work.
 * if you’ve modified EM core files, there’s no telling what you’ve done, so that
   may well be the problem 🙂
 * either way, i’d advise moving your mods out, using our hooks and upgrading, as
   it could very well fix the problem, and you can also prevent your mods from interfering
   if you put them into a plugin/script seperate from EM and not load it to test.
 * Thank you Marcus. Unfortunately, the update dit not help, but the conflicting
   category ID was 01 and in your Demo that was the particular ID for “No category”.
   Other categories start with 11. So I removed the category and than I added it
   again. That worked out well.
