 * I have a problem, the emails sent to [namesurname@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-sent-email/namesurname@gmail.com?output_format=md)
   also come to [name.surname@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-sent-email/name.surname@gmail.com?output_format=md).
   Is this possible?

 * Sure it is possible. In Gmail the period character is ignored so the email address“
   john.smith@gmail.com” is the same as “johnsmith@gmail.com”. There are lots articles
   on the web about how the period character is handled by Gmail, [here is one of them](http://fieldguide.gizmodo.com/how-to-use-the-infinite-number-of-email-addresses-gmail-1609458192).
