# Problem updating theme

 * Hi, I am trying to update my wordpress and theme and was going to switch to Twenty
   Fourteen temporarily for the update. But when I tried to install I got this message:
 * Downloading install package from [https://downloads.wordpress.org/theme/twentyfourteen.1.7.zip…](https://downloads.wordpress.org/theme/twentyfourteen.1.7.zip…)
 * Download failed. SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
   error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed
 * I then tried another theme and got the same message.
 * I contacted my host but they are looking into it and seem maybe not sure what
   to do so thought I would post here.
