 * What version of WP are you running? If you’re using a CVS version, you’ll need
   to also run the appropriate upgrade script, found in wp-admin.

 * yes….that could very well be the problem…
    do i need to run the upgrade script
   even if this is the first install? btw… thanks for responding 🙂
