# Problem w/ visual editor

 * I have not personally noticed it, using Firefox, but several of our writers have
   indicated that upon attempting to publish a new post, they are met with a visual
   edit screen that is missing a tool bar. When they click on HTML, the screen disappears.

 * We are currently in the process of upgrading and revamping our site, but I really
   need this problem fixed in the interim. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

 * Have you tried:
 * – asking users to disable Google Gears if they have that running/installed.
 * – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

 * Well, the thing is, I haven’t changed anything w/ the theme or plugins since 
   the problem started happening. It just popped up all of a sudden… after several
   months of working fine.

 * Also, I’m still on WordPress 2.5.1
