 * I ran into the same problem.
    The Google API resource limit is the problem. Nothing
   wrong with the WP plugin.
 * I deleted all Google API dependent WP plugins.
 * What else did I do?
 * I used the WP text editor!
    Where it says Insert I inserted media and entered
   the web address, and then I resized the YouTube video.
 * WORKS GREAT !
    NO API NEEDED !

 * yes, that issue comes from Google API limit, we are now trying to understand 
   whether there is a way to overcome it with our plugin.
