# Problem when WP is on folder

 * Hi
 * I installed a WP site on mydomain.com/folder, and on mydomain.com there is another
   WP install.
 * When I select a language it goes to main site on domain root and throws 404 error.
 * How To fix this, so the WP install on folder doesn’t mess with the root folder
   one?

 * I set the option “URL Structure:” to ” Sub-directory ([http://example.com/de/](http://example.com/de/))”

 * example.com/sub-dir/de/
 * It get’s redirected to
 * example.com/de/sub-dir

 * That option is paid only, you should not turn it on if you do not have our paid
   version already.
