# Problem while updating

 * hello,
 * I’m on multisite but I use your pluggin only on one site.
 * I accidently quit the wordpress backoffice page today when the plugin was updating.
 * It caused a fatal error. The website was not accessible. It is now accessible
   but my backoffice displays a message “automated WordPress update has failed to
   complete…”.
 * As proposed, I attempted the _update_ again.
 * But it does not work. how can I update your pluggin manually ?

 * You can download the plugin here: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/complianz-gdpr/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/complianz-gdpr/)
 * Then proceed to install directly, WordPress should overwrite the current plugin.
 * If it doesn’t work, deactivate and delete the current plugin and install a new
   one, your settings will remain.
 * If that doesn’t work (it should). You can always unpack the .zip and overwrite
   the files via FTP.
