# Problem with activation – errors

 * Hey! When I activate the plugin, the error shows up:
 * “The plugin returned 241 unexpected characters while turning it on. If you see“
   headers already sent” on any screen of your site, problems with news channels
   or other problems, try disabling or removing this plugin.”
 * I have exactly the same issue as this guy: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-activation-plugin/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-activation-plugin/)(
   the only difference is that I translated the error).
 * How can I fix it and make the plugin work? It’s 100% related to the latest update.
   I had version 2.7.3 installed on my other site and everything was fine. Since
   it is just a test site, I decided to update the plugin. The issue also occured
   here, after the update.
 * Version 2.8 is broken. Can you please update the plugin and fix the issue?

   release today. If you want to try earlier, you can use the following zip( You
