# Problem with .bypostauthor

 * I seem to be having a problem on a post of mine where the bypostauthor class 
   is being applied to comments strangely: sometimes it’s applied properly, sometimes
   it’s not applied, and sometimes it’s applied to the _wrong_ user. In my particular
   case, I’m using the class to stylize the author’s avatar with a different colour
   border than the rest of the replies.
 * I’d be happy to post my comments.php, specific CSS, etc. as well, if desired.
   Here’s the post & comments in question (Chris is the author):

 * The .bypostauthor class hasn’t been applied to the 1 odd avatar. Possible cuases:
 * – the author posted from a different email address
    – you have a plugin that’s
   causing a problem – there’s an issue in your theme
