# Problem with calling comment_type (1.3a3)

 * I’ve experienced some faulty template tag calling. When I call `comment_type('
   comment','trackback','pingback')` it always shows comment. [Hanni](http://pinksocks.co.uk)
   and [I](http://www.zooibaai.nl/b/) are both experiencing this, with 1.3-alpha-
   3. Anyone knows why it doesn’t work?

 * Have you run upgrade.php? It should have converted your comments table to use
   the new comment_type field…

 * Yeah, I did. Odd problem. Hanni has the same problem, but I don’t know for her
   if she ran it. For me, it didn’t help anyway.
