# Problem with categorizing posts?

 * I just started using WordPress and got my site setup with the “Elite” theme from
   wpzone.net. Everything seems to be going ok so far except that I am having some
   problems getting my posts to locate to the area I want. For example, I am trying
   to make a new post and put it in one of the main links on the left, but they 
   just keep going to the default “BLOG” post area on the main page.
 * I tried making different categories but they are still not being directed to 
   those top main links. I couldn’t find any threads on this, so I appreciate any
   input on the issue. Thanks!

 * Those top links (e.g. About) are [Pages](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages). If
   you want posts to display you might want to look at using something like the 
   Recent Posts widget.

 * Yes it seems that plugin does allow you to cause posts to be displayed in [Pages](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages).
