I optimised my database, which also included removing orphaned data.

I suspect this optimisation interfered with Smart Crawl, as after that the \sitemap.xml returned a 404 error. Only after completely removing Smart Crawl with
Settings/Data & Settings/Uninstallation settings set to Reset. After reinstallation everything was OK.

As a check, I swapped my database to the backup copy I made before the optimisation and confirm that Smart Crawl was in good shape and the sitemap did display correctly.

  • Hi @antonv

I hope you are doing good today.

Could you share with us the full steps you have made and what plugin you used to optimize your database so that we could test that on our lab site?

If some plugin was used what features were disabled/enabled so that we could replicate this in the same way you did.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
