# Problem with Fixedheader and fixedcolumns

 * For some reason when I add the fixedheader code it negates my fixed column from
   working on my table, the fixed column works fine without the fixed header code.
   Here’s what I have:
 * [table id=soccer datatables_fixedheader=top datatables_fixedcolumns_left_columns
   =1 /]
 * For some reason it ignores the fixedcolumns code … any ideas? Thanks!

 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * The reason for this is that the JS code for these to DataTables add-ons is not
   compatible, see [https://datatables.net/download/compatibility](https://datatables.net/download/compatibility)
   🙁
    So, unfortunately, they can not be used together.
